Ah, self-care. Long neglected by modern society, now self-care has almost become a dirty word. Get a manicure, take a bubble bath, they’ll solve all your problems! Ultimately, I believe we are beautiful and worthy of love and attention, and the world teaches us the opposite. Self-care is stopping to say, “I love myself, I am worthy of care and attention, and that care starts with me.”
