In this episode of The Notable Woman Podcast, I give you a taste of the Super U Summit with my talk: Disrupt Your Thoughts, Disrupt Your Life.

Super U Summit 4.0 begins on May 6th, but if you’ve never attended before, you might not be sure if it’s for you. That’s why I decided to give you a taste of the summit with my talk from Super U 3.0 – Disrupt Your Thoughts, Disrupt Your Life. The Super U Summit is all about empowering women, and in this talk, I take aim at the thought patterns that are determining the actions you take. Might you be stuck because your thoughts are actually keeping you there? Until we examine them, we don’t really know.

This talk is for anyone who has ever been stuck, and they’re not sure why.

IN THIS EPISODE, I EXPLORE:
  • What the Super U Summit is
  • What it means to disrupt our thoughts
  • How our thoughts determine our judgments determine our actions
  • How we can examine what we think
  • How we can get started changing what we think
  • How you can sign up for the summit (right here!)

I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did creating it. You can listen now, right here from this webpage by clicking the play button below.

About Cristin Downs

Cristin Downs is an alchemist, theatrical thinker, producer, educator, speaker, and podcaster. She rules her tiny roost at Pace University as the director of the continuing studies unit. She’s had a pretty eclectic career, but moments that truly defined her sense of self: becoming a strong woman leader and independent thinker at Cedar Crest College, learning arts exceptionalism at UC Irvine’s School of the Arts, experiencing first-rate business processes with the mouse at Disneyland Resort, and becoming an activist at Riverside Church. Meeting Ruby Dee, Robert Downey Jr., James Earl Jones, Ntozake Shange, and Dana Reeve were all fairly awesome moments. Cristin loves to read, the theatre, dancing in the kitchen, and her family and friends.
