Our actions are actually not controlled by whether or not we’re badasses or not, but by whether or not we *think* we are. Our thoughts control how we judge ourselves, and that controls what we actually do. Want to go to bed on time but stay up late binge-watching The Great British Bake Off? Hate yourself in the morning (but also kind of glad you enjoyed all those Brits)? Your actions aligned with what you think – that you’re the kind of person who just can’t go to bed on time.

So now how do we change that thought?
